1. The Forest Hill section of the Ma & Pa Trail from the Blake’s Venture trailhead to Mardic Drive in Forest Hill will be closed from Tuesday, September 8 through Friday, September 18 and the section from Mardic Drive to the Route 23 underpass is scheduled to be closed from Monday, September 21 through Monday, September 28. The county will be replacing the decks of the walking bridges and performs routine maintenance on the bridges’ structures. Because of the nature of the work being done on the walking bridges, no one will be allowed on the respective parts of the trail until it is complete.
IMPORTANT UPDATE: On Monday, June 29, we will begin a gradual, limited reopening of our indoor Parks & Recreation facilities for recreation council or P&R program activities, by appointment only. Please check with your local P&R office for details.
Parks, trails, and playgrounds are open as long as social distancing is maintained. Please contact your rec council for information about the status of their programs. Pavilion rentals will resume on July 1 for outdoor gatherings. Click here to see pavilion options.
